    Event Description:
    International Observe the Moon Night is an annual event that encourages people to look up and take notice of our nearest neighbor, the Moon. Every year on the same day, people from around the world hold events and activities that celebrate our Moon. Join our astronomy staff in the Observatory for stargazing and Moon watching! Please note, the Observatory and outdoor restrooms will be open; however, the Museum will only be open to Science Spooky Night ticketholders. Check our homepage after noon on the day of the event for cancellation notice due to cloudy skies or inclement weather. The Observatory is not heated or air-conditioned so please dress accordingly. If you are planning on attending Science Spooky Night, you’re in luck! Access to the Observatory is included with your event ticket!
