Membership Benefits

Serving members is the Chamber's Number One priority. Chamber staff, committee members and volunteers are committed to strengthening services to member businesses. Here are just some of the benefits:

Discounted Health Insurance: Blue Cross/Blue Shield group health insurance, offered through local insurors in a variety of plans and options, includes a 3% - 5% discount on new policies and 3% on renewal increases.

Brochures & Referrals: The Chamber office refers inquiries about Bartow County businesses to only Chamber member businesses and professionals. Members are welcome to place their brochures and business cards in the Chamber lobby.

Ribbon Cuttings: New members and members who have had a significant change in their business (e.g., a new location, new name, addition or renovation) can host a Ribbon Cutting sponsored by the Chamber. Click here for a request form.

Chamber Business Expo: Members can join 75 local businesses in the Chamber's annual trade show held in October, drawing large crowds from Bartow County and the surrounding areas.

Legislative Advocacy: Members and Chamber staff serve as advocates before national, state and local governing bodies on issues concerning the business community.

Membership Directory: Members are included in a complete printed membership directory distributed to over 3000 businesses and newcomers each year.

Networking: There are numerous opportunities for member-to-member contact in both social and business settings, from the annual golf Play Day to the black-tie Gala and the Annual Meeting.

Chamber Web Site: Members are listed in the Membership Search database on the Chamber Web site, which includes contact information and links to member Web sites.

Business Contacts: The Chamber provides common ground for members to meet with other business and community leaders.

Advertising: Members have the opportunity to advertise in multiple Chamber publications such as the membership directory, city/county maps, and Inside Bartow magazine. As event sponsors, members can advertise through banners, signage, radio spots, newspapers ads, and other avenues.

Resources: The Chamber offers several free or discounted resources to members: mailing labels, brochures, reference materials.

Involvement: All Chamber members and their employees are encouraged to participate in Chamber committees, programs, and events.

Customers: The work done by Chamber members and staff through economic and community development creates jobs and customers for member businesses.

Education: The Chamber hosts frequent seminars and training sessions to help members operate sound and growing businesses.
