Critical Blood Shortage: Please Donate This Week!

Our community’s blood supply has reached critical levels this month and we’re asking for Cartersville Chamber’s help in meeting the needs of our local hospitals.
Several factors have contributed to this recent blood shortage, including:
- A 25% increase in blood usage by local hospitals
- A 16% decrease in blood donations
Your organization has graciously hosted blood drives with us in the past and we’d like to thank you for your continued support. Since donors can give blood every 8 weeks, we’re reaching out to organizations that are not currently scheduled to host a blood drive within that time frame.
Please encourage your employees to visit one of our local donor centers this week.
