    Position Announcement
    Title:  Office Administrator
    Reports to:  CEO

    Position:  Full Time with Benefits
    Compensation: Hourly

    Basic Function:
    Responsible for the general oversight of the Chamber of Commerce office administrative functions. Establishes and maintains positive business relationships, internally and externally, to promote Chamber goals.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Greet visitors to the Chamber of Commerce in a friendly, welcoming manner; provide area information as needed
    • Answer phones in a friendly, business-like manner; supply information to callers; take messages as needed
    • Process and route Chamber mail and email
    • Oversee Chamber membership billing and general accounts receivable/accounts payable reporting
    • Assist Membership Director with ChamberMaster database management
    • Oversee publishing of social media content
    • Manage Chamber room reservations
    • Assist with Chamber event planning, scheduling, invoicing, and payments; attend and/or work Chamber special events
    • Support and assist all staff members with daily duties
    • Maintain the appearance of the Chamber of Commerce
    • Serves as Purchasing Manager for office supplies
    • Order and stock brochures
    • Clerical and filing
    • Open and close Chamber office on a daily basis
    • Other duties as assigned by the CEO
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
    • High proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Previous knowledge of the Cartersville-Bartow community
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • High level of ethical and professional conduct
    • Ability to work well independently and on a team
    • Aptitude for good grammar to include social media, news media, and business correspondence
    • Valid driver’s license
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Two year college degree OR two years of experience in office management
    • Reside in Bartow County
    Nights Weekends Required:  Some (meetings/events/trainings)
