The Grand Theatre in Downtown Cartersville Releases 2017-18 Century Bank Entertainment Series at The Grand Theatre Lineup.

The Grand Theatre is pleased to announce this year’s Century Bank Entertainment Series at The Grand Theatre events. Season tickets and individual event tickets are on sale now online at thegrandtheatre.org and at The Grand Theatre Ticket Office in downtown Cartersville.

The series opens on Saturday, November 11th with The Petty Hearts – America’s Definitive Tom Petty Tribute Show. The untimely passing of Tom Petty makes this first show bittersweet. We have had this show planned for nearly eight months, but this group from Florida is fantastic and will provide a great opportunity to celebrate the life and music of one of the greatest and most consistent artists in music history.

The Atlanta Pops return for the thirteenth straight year for our holiday concert on Saturday, December 9th. This year’s local performers with the orchestra will be the local vocalists Rachel Brideau and Jeremiah Robinson.

The series continues on Saturday, February 3rd with Thompson Square. Since breaking into the country music scene, the multi-platinum selling duo has achieved international success scoring three #1 hits “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” “If I Didn’t Have You” and “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About,” respectively. They have earned five Top 20 hits, with streaming numbers surpassing 600 million and a social media following of nearly 2 million. The three-time “Vocal Duo of the Year” (ACM/CMA) have received top honors in music including two GRAMMY nominations for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” and “Best Country Song,” seven mainstream industry awards and over 25 additional award nominations.

Bluegrass Band, Balsam Range comes to The Grand on Saturday, March 3rd. The group’s ascent to the top of the Bluegrass world has left a well-marked trail of success since the band’s inception in 2007. One of the genre’s most award-winning artists in recent years, they have garnered ten International Bluegrass Music Association Awards on the heels of six critically acclaimed albums. Balsam Range has left audiences spellbound while headlining major festivals from coast to coast, selling out venues across the nation, and appearing multiple times at the Grand Ole Opry.

The last event in this year’s Century Bank Entertainment Series at The Grand Theatre is Larry Gatlin on Saturday, April 21st.  As part of a trio with his younger brothers Steve and Rudy, Larry achieved considerable success within the country music genre, performing on thirty-three Top 40 singles. He is known for his rich falsetto singing style and for the unique pop-inflected songs he wrote and recorded in the 1970s and 1980s. Some of Gatlin's biggest hits include "Broken Lady", "All the Gold in California", "Houston (Means I'm One Day Closer to You)", "She Used to Be Somebody's Baby", and "Talkin' to the Moon".

Orchestra level tickets are $27 and balcony level seats are $22 for individual events. Season ticket purchasers get a ten percent discount on their seats. All events are reserved seating.  Purchase your tickets online at thegrandtheatre.org, at The Grand Theatre ticket office, located at 7 North Wall Street in downtown Cartersville, or by calling 770-386-7343.
