Bartow Give a Kid a Chance
Our 2018 back-to-school outreach to our community's at-risk children needs your help. Scheduled for
Saturday, July 28th at the Bartow College & Career Academy and Allatoona Resource Center, this event requires 300 volunteers to serve the expected 2,500 children and their families.
Volunteers assist the children in a variety of ways: registering them for services, serving meals, selecting backpacks and school supplies, polishing nails for little girls, traffic control, etc. You will meet a lot of wonderful people--other volunteers, and of course, the children.
Would you be willing to join us for set-up on Friday morning (July 27th) or
Saturday morning, afternoon, or even all day (July 28th)? Please go to our website
no later than July 13th to register for a time when you'd like to serve.
