What Exactly is YouScience?
YouScience was created to help answer some of life’s biggest questions for young adults such as “Why am I learning this?” and “What do I want to be when I grow up?”
By using a series of psychometrically valid “brain games”, YouScience determines students’ unique set of natural abilities. When combined with interests, the results yield career recommendations that enable students to be matched to careers and receive personalized feedback on how their abilities can be utilized in school, work, or their daily lives.
YouScience looks closely at students’ basic abilities and, based on data gathered so far, those abilities are similar across racial, ethnic, and gender differences helping young people to see and consider careers they never would have thought of before because they may not have role models to tell them about those careers.

How does it work?
Local employers can create their profiles by entering their company information and indicating the skills desired from potential employees. Using a proprietary algorithm that matches individuals’ talents and skills, YouScience identifies individuals that are well-suited to meet employers’ human resource needs.
