ADAIRSVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL TEAMS UP WITH THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE UNITED STATES TO PROMOTE WORLD SPAY DAY 2017
Local Citizens Urged To Spay or Neuter Their Pets
In honor of World Spay Day, an international campaign of The Humane Society of the United States, Humane Society International, and Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association, Adairsville Animal Hospital will once again host World Spay Day to promote spay/neuter as a humane and effective means of reducing the number of animals who are put down in shelters each year.
Event registration will be Tuesday, February 28th, at Adairsville Animal Hospital from 9:00a.m. until 4:00p.m. …or until certificates are sold out. There will be 100 available certificates.
Between six-eight million cats and dogs enter our nation’s shelter system each year. Shelters can’t save and support this huge number of accidental litters, strays and offspring of family pets. As a result, nearly three million are put down annually. Spaying and neutering is the only 100% proven way to reduce these numbers and save animal lives.
