The 2nd Annual Pond & Garden Tour, from 9AM-4PM, will feature 10 beautiful, privately owned gardens in the Cartersville and Bartow County area.
A GARDEN PARTY hosted by VINCE DOOLEY will then be held at the Clarence Brown Conference Center starting at 6PM. Attire is "Garden Casual." The former University of Georgia Athletic Director and Head Coach of the Bulldogs will share his knowledge as a Master Gardener. One lucky attendee will win a fabulous door prize: a pair of tickets for a private tour of Coach Dooley's backyard garden in Athens. Grand Oaks will provide heavy hors d'oeuvres and there will be a beer and wine cash bar, while the Etowah Jazz Society will provide the ambiance. A silent and live auction will feature both gardening treasures and athletic memorabilia.
All proceeds from these events will benefit the Bartow Health Access Louis Tonsmeire, Sr. Clinic, which provides affordable healthcare on a sliding fee scale for people who are underinsured and uninsured. Medicaid and Medicare are also welcome. Bartow Health Access is your new home for healthcare, striving to create a healthier community.
