    Home School Programs
     
    Home School Day programs are designed to meet Georgia Performance Standards, while engaging students’ critical and creative thinking skills.
     
    Programs are 90 minutes and include a living history demonstration, hands-on activities and crafts related to the subject matter and a self-guided tour after the program. 
     
    Home school groups must make a reservation by calling 770-387-3849.
     
    Admission:  Students: $5   Adults: $3 (BHM adult members are free)
     
    Program Time:  1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
     
    Available Program Dates:
     
    February 11, 2013African American History Makers:  Students will dive into three different time periods as they discover the lives of Martin Luther King, Jr., Harriet Tubman, and John Henry Morgan (local Tuskegee airman).  (Ages 6-12)
     
    March 11, 2013Women at War:  Explore the lives of the brave women who have served our country in difficult times.  Students will discover the trials and tribulations of Clara Barton, Rosie the Riveter, and others through interactions with interpreters, activities, and much more.
