Cartersville Medical Center is committed to improving more lives in more ways. That is why we are proud to partner with Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force in support of the DEA’s (Drug Enforcement Agency) national take back day, to help combat the misuse of opioids. Current figures support the claim that more people die from complications related to opioid misuse and opioid disorder than all other drugs combined.
Please help us by encouraging the community to safely and anonymously drop off unused and expired medication for proper disposal on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at our collection site:
The Hope Center
100 Market Place Boulevard, Cartersville
*The collection site will be conveniently located under a tent, near the main entrance of The Hope Center.
