    LEARN ALL ABOUT EXOPLANETS - PLANETS AROUND DISTANT STARS - IN THIS NEW WORKSHOP! Visit the Observatory (weather permitting) to view an exoplanet host star and search for planets, chat virtually with a NASA astronomer, and connect to use NASA’s robotic telescopes to take your own pictures of deep space objects. Participate in a human-powered solar system model to study orbits, learn about gravity and star formation, and make an exoplanet rotary star chart to take home.

    This workshop will happen rain or shine. In case of inclement weather or cloudy skies, the Observatory portion of this workshop will move to the Bentley Planetarium. The Observatory is not heated or air-conditioned, so please dress accordingly.

    Limited space available. Prepaid reservations required. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Reservations close at noon Wednesday, September 9, 2020 or when the workshop reaches maximum capacity. Cancellation policy: 48 hours before for full refund. For ages 8+, no exceptions.
