Name: Field Trip for Adults: Red Top Mountain State Park
    Date: July 6, 2021
    Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT
    Event Description:
Get ready for a special field trip for adults for our Adult Summer Reading Program! This week, we will meet up at Red Top Mountain State Park for a ranger-led 2-mile hike on the Iron Hill trail to learn about the history of Red Top and the area of Iron Hill. We'll even walk into one of the mines on the trail! This is the first part of our outing to Red Top Mountain for ranger-led activities for the day.

Bring plenty of water and remember to pack a lunch for an afternoon picnic between our morning hike and afternoon program, if you are attending both programs! If you're only planning to come to the History Hike, you're welcome to join us for a picnic lunch after the hike at 12pm! You will need your own transportation to and from Red Top Mountain.

This event is free, but sign-up  for each event is required for attendance! You may sign up for one or both of the Red Top Mountain events. When you sign up, we will send you instructions for the day of the event, including our picnic. If you are unable to attend, please let us know so that we can give your spot to another patron. Adults only for this tour please! Registration will open on 6/22/21.
