Earn the Georgia’s Native Peoples Badge at Girl Scout Day in Cartersville!
The Bartow History Museum proudly presents Girl Scout Day – Georgia’s Native Peoples, a special program where Junior-level Girl Scouts (Grades 4–5) can earn the Georgia’s Native Peoples Council’s Own Badge from the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.

Through engaging storytelling, crafts, and interactive learning, Girl Scouts will explore the rich history and culture of the Cherokee and Muscogee tribes, from their original homelands in Georgia to their experiences before and during Removal.

This immersive, hands-on program fosters a deeper appreciation for Native American traditions and concludes with Girl Scouts receiving their well-earned badge.

The cost is $20 for Girl Scouts and $9 for parents/chaperones. All participating Girl Scouts will complete the badge requirements and receive the badge at the end of the program.

Spots are limited, so don’t wait to register!
