It’s time again for steel, wheels, and big machines at Tellus Science Museum during Heavy Metal in Motion. This popular family event brings fun for the whole family – see helicopters, fire engines, heavy machinery, military vehicles, jeep flexing, and more! And with a few exceptions, kids of all ages can climb into or on these machines. There’s even more fun to be had at this event – educational activities, train rides, bounce houses, photo ops, a sale in the Store, and a special cookout-style menu in our outdoor Café. FAIR WARNING! It’s going to get loud and noisy when cars and trucks crank their motors, fire engines sound their sirens, and big rigs honk their horns. You’ll also want to hold on to your hats when the helicopters land and take off!
