    Event Description:
How do astronauts walk in space? We will look at the technology involved in suiting up to enter the unforgiving vacuum of space, an environment where harsh radiation, micrometeoroids, and temperature extremes are just the beginning of the challenges you face to stay alive and function effectively. The Lunch + Learn lecture begins at 12:15 PM. No outside food is allowed but you are welcome to buy lunch in the Café and bring it into the lecture, or just come hear the lecture. All Lunch + Learns are FREE for members and included in regular admission for non-members. Presentations are recommended for ages 8 and up, unless otherwise indicated. From fossils to stars, Lunch and Learn features a wide variety of topics.
