On Wednesday, December 7, prior to Art for Lunch, Booth Museum will unveil its largest piece ever on the North Lawn.
A 37 foot tall Nishga Totem Pole will be unveiled just outside the Booth’s two story sculpture court at 11:30 a.m. on December 7. The public is invited to attend the short unveiling ceremony where Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cousins – who are loaning the totem pole – and Executive Director Seth Hopkins will share a few words about the Nishga Totem Pole and how it came to be at the Booth.
Following the unveiling, Art for Lunch will be held in the Booth Ballroom at 12:15 p.m. Director of Special Projects Jim Dunham will be discussing the history and importance of totem poles, including the Nisgha Totem Pole.
