OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Training

This 30 Hour General Industry Training Program covers a variety of topics. The class covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Attendees will be able to identify the most common hazards in their workplaces, located the applicable OSHA general industry standard, and determine appropriate abatement methods to address non-compliance with these standards. Course Scope: Introduction to OHSA; Managing Safety and Health; Walking and Working Surfaces; Fall Protection; Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans; Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection; Electrical; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); Job Hazard Assessments; Respiratory Protection; Hearing Conversation; Materials Handling; Hazard Communication; Permit-Required Confined Spaces; Lockout/Tagout; Machine Guarding; Bloodborne Pathogens; Introduction to Industrial Hygiene; Workplace Violence; Injury and Illness Recordkeeping
