Attorney Matt Mashburn Honored as 2020 Super Lawyer
T. Matthew Mashburn, a resident of Cartersville, has been honored as one of Georgia’s top Real Estate lawyers in the 2020 edition of Georgia Super Lawyers magazine, which designated him as a 2020 Super Lawyer.
Only five percent of the lawyers in each state are named to the annual Super Lawyers list, and this is Mashburn’s ninth time receiving this distinction. Super Lawyers (www.superlawyers.com) is a guide compiled by Thompson Reuters that honors exceptional attorneys, representing a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations. Candidates are nominated by peers in their state and evaluated by an expert panel system.
Mashburn, a partner in the national firm Aldridge Pite, LLP headquartered in Buckhead, specializes in preparing and closing commercial real estate loans and other issues involving commercial real estate law, creditors’ rights, foreclosure, banking law and landlord and tenant law. A frequent speaker for Continuing Legal Education Seminars in Georgia, he also is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Montana. Mashburn is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in political science, magna cum laude. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude. While in law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. He also was published in The Georgia Journal regarding the international law and constitutional law implications involving travel restrictions to Cuba.
