    Summer Camps 2018
The Bartow History Museum in Cartersville announces its 2018 summer camps.

    June 4 - 8, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    Dig for Victory Camp

We will look at the American Home Front during WWII. Campers from age 8 to 12 are invited to participate in games and activities, learn about the importance of the Victory Garden initiative, and also learn about contemporary urban farming.

    June 18 - 22, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    Pirate Camp

Did you know Georgia had pirates during our colonial era? Campers from age 5 to 8 will learn to tie knots, explore shipwrecks, and hunt for treasure.

    July 16 - 20, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    Monsters and Mythology Camp

The human imagination is a powerful thing, and stories have long shaped the way people live their lives. Campers from age 8 to 12 will explore the folklore, from cryptids to superstitions, that shaped the lives of the early settlers in northwest Georgia.

    July 23 - 27, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Back to [the one room] School Camp

During the summer, has your favorite student's reading, writing, and arithmetic gotten a little rusty? Brush up on skills, reconnect with friends (or make new ones), explore objects in the museum’s collection, and play games (and learn) about the early 20th century. This camp is open to campers age 5 to 8.

Museum members - $90 for 5 days, or $20 per day
    Museum non-members - $100 for 5 days, or $25 per day
