Greater Community Bank Names Matt Robbins Executive Vice President
The Board of Directors of Greater Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Robbins to Executive Vice President.
From baseball to banking, Robbins has led the GCB team to record setting victories. Since joining the Bank in 2011, he has served in numerous positions including Senior Vice President and Senior Lending Officer, playing a key leadership role in the management of the Bank. Under Matt’s direction, the lending team has increased GCB’s loan portfolio by 145%. “Being able to serve the communities across Northwest Georgia is a tremendous honor,” said Robbins. “Greater Community Bank is an exceptional place to work, and I am proud to be a part of it.”

Robbins, a native of Calhoun, graduated from Calhoun High School and the University of Georgia, where he played baseball for four years. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from UGA. He received his diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2015.
In addition to his work at Greater Community Bank, Matt is a graduate of Leadership Calhoun/Gordon County and Leadership Rome. He serves on the Board of Directors for Rome Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Java Joy, and the Calhoun/Gordon County Community Foundation. He and his wife Keri have three children, Ryan, Greer, and Beau.
