WALESKA, Ga. - Reinhardt University announces the addition of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus in Nursing Education. The program recently received approval from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). This continuous five-semester program is 100% online. The first cohort begins in the fall of 2023.

The MSN in Nursing Education prepares students for careers at colleges, universities, vocational-technical schools, and hospital educational departments. Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), Novice Nurse Educator (CNEn), and Academic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNEcl) exams. The curriculum also supports the foundational knowledge needed to pursue a terminal nursing degree.

Applicants for Reinhardt’s MSN program must have completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited and state-approved nursing program. Applicants must also hold a current unencumbered Georgia or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of the application deadline.
