WALESKA, GA – Last week, Reinhardt University students graduating from the Price School of Education (PSOE) celebrated by holding their very own “signing day.” Borrowing the idea of high school senior athletes signing letters of intent for the college or university of their choice, students at PSOE marked graduation with a mock signing showing the schools they would begin their teaching career at in the fall.
“We wanted to celebrate our student's accomplishments in a unique way,” said Tami Smith, interim dean of PSOE. “We thought that a picture of them signing with their future school logo would be a great way to highlight their new beginning!”
Reinhardt offers programs for both undergraduate and graduate students with dream of teaching. Undergraduate students can receive their bachelor’s degree in biology education, elementary education, English language education, history education, mathematics education, or middle grades education. Graduate students receive a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in elementary education. The MAT program is designed for currently employed college graduates with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than education. The program is 100% online and takes one year to complete.
Reinhardt and the PSOE is proud of all of this year’s graduates and wishes them the best in their teaching careers in north Georgia. The following graduates will join the Bartow County School System and Cartersville City Schools:

Bailey Roberts (MAT) joins Clear Creek
Elementary School in Cartersville.
