CARTERSVILLE, GEORGIA - Savoy Automobile Museum is proud to announce its first car show,
The Connection, to be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on the Showgrounds of Savoy Automobile Museum to benefit the museum. According to Executive Director Macra Adair, "We anticipate filling the available 250 vehicle registration spots by April 28, when registration officially closes." This open classification car show will bring car enthusiasts of all ages together to share their passion for automobiles, exchange stories, and develop their appreciation for the vehicles and what they represent.
Visitors can fuel up for the show with a pastry and coffee at the Savoy Café before strolling through the Showgrounds and admiring the immense variety of impressive vehicles on display. Satisfy your hunger with a tasty bite at the Café or indulge in a meal from one of the various food trucks present for the event.
An awards ceremony will be held at 3:00 pm to recognize the recipients of the People's Choice Award, selected by spectators, and Savoy's Choice Award, selected by the staff and volunteers from the museum. Recipients must be present to win. Also, at 3:00 pm the winner of the 50/50 raffle will take place. Purchasers must be 18 years of age or older, unless accompanied by an adult, to purchase a ticket and must be present to win.
Inside the museum, visitors can take in the following exhibits, which will be available on the day of the car show, the
Savoy Collection, 75 Years of Porsche, British Invasion, Locally Owned, and
Georgia Tech Student Competition Center Engineering Vehicles.
Before leaving, visitors can purchase one of the custom-designed shirts to commemorate the day and show their support for the museum.

Admission to the museum for the general public is $15 for ages 13 and older, which includes complimentary admission to
The Connection car show, $5 for youth ages 3 - 12, and complimentary for children 2 and under and active military with ID. Members of the museum receive complimentary admission to the museum and car show. Admission to only the car show will not be available.
