    The Atlanta Concert Band Visits Falany on Oct. 23
     
    WALESKA, GA  –  Looking for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon of musical entertainment?  The Atlanta Concert Band makes a stop at the Falany Performing Arts Center on Oct. 23 at 3:00 p.m.

    The Atlanta Concert Band is a versatile music ensemble that entertains audiences with everything from classical and traditional music to pop, jazz, movie scores as well as music selected from popular video games.
     
     "What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon," said Jessica Akers, director of the Falany Performing Arts Center. "The Atlanta Concert Band is always a favorite for audiences of all ages."

    In addition to bringing music to the greater Atlanta community, The Atlanta Concert Band has a mission of providing a forum for arts education to the next generation.  Their outreach efforts for music education to Georgia’s youth includes connecting with schools and offering mentoring programs and selected youth participation in the band.

    All seats are $20 per person.  Tickets can be purchased at Reinhardt.edu/falany or by calling the box office at 770-720-9167.
