    Job Summary


    Georgia Highlands College is seeking qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable working professionals who enjoy teaching to serve as Temporary/Part-Time Instructors in GHC's Center for Continuing Education and Professional Programs. Courses and seminars are taught in a broad array of subjects, presented in varying formats lasting from one day to several weeks. Flexible scheduling is available, including day, evening, and weekend courses.


    This position prepares and delivers excellent instruction as a part-time instructor for Georgia Highlands College, a multi-site college in the University System of Georgia. This position instructs students in the Power BI certificate program.




    • Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies.


    • Evaluate student progress in attaining goals, objectives, and learning outcomes


    • Maintains accurate records of student attendance, schedules and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content.


    • Maintains timely and proper communication with students and Manager of Continuing and Professional Education via phone, email, and other electronic means.


    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Required Qualifications


    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.


    Proposed Salary


    Salary: $1000/course.
