Job Summary
The Enrollment Management Technology Specialist is responsible for providing technical support for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enrollment-related software systems. This role ensures data integrity, supports reporting and analytics efforts, and collaborates with stakeholders to enhance system functionality and user experience in support of institutional enrollment goals. The position location is flexible and is able to be located on any of the GHC campuses.
Responsibilities
• Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies
• Serves as an administrator for enrollment management software; coordinates with third party systems to ensure the input of current and accurate data; troubleshoots end-user issues; assures the college's faculty and staff have correct user access and permissions
• Handles integration issues with Banner and third-party EM technologies
• Manages GHC admissions application, nursing application, dental hygiene application issues and enhancements
• Collaborates with CRM admin to make sure technical side of the college's CRM is functional so that communication workflows are set up to send to accurate student populations
• Creates and manages DegreeWorks templates for all GHC degrees/programs; analyzes students' progression through degree and provides advisors reports of students who veer off track from plan
• Responsible for training staff on use of enrollment management technology, both as new hires come in and as new functionalities are implemented
• Runs Banner processes as needed
• Works with the Executive Director to design, compile, analyze, evaluate, and interpret enrollment management data; creates exports of data for college stakeholders
• Provides the college's weekly enrollment report for the University System of Georgia
• Cleans and enhances datasets for Enrollment Management projects
• Develops, coordinates, and maintains the back-end technology to support the College's early alert program
• Participates in College initiatives and events to benefit students and the College
• Serves on college committees as needed
• Performs related duties
Required Qualifications
• Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a bachelor's degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
• Sufficient experience to understand and apply the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years
• Relevant work experience with data/statistical analysis and spreadsheets
• Experience working with Banner system preferred
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
Proposed Salary
$52,118 - $55,000 annually

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Experience in data analytics
• Experience with data science-based programming languages like SQL and Python
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of system and college policies regarding enrollment, student support services, and registration
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to work independently and to use good judgement
• Knowledge of University System of Georgia and Georgia Highlands College policies and procedures
• Must possess a high level of the following work skills and behaviors: teamwork/cooperation, initiative, customer service, organizational, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous professional growth in skills and knowledge
• Understanding of enrollment management technology solutions and have willingness to expand knowledge as the solutions evolve
• Dedication to becoming an advocate for the CRM across all areas of the college, ensuring data quality and commitment to facilitating a maximally functional system
• Comprehension of complex data structures and the ability to think critically about how data should be utilized for purposes related to the position
• Ability to develop project plans and successfully implement these plans in an environment where priorities may shift rapidly
• Knowledge and experience with Banner Student Information System
