Job Summary
This position oversees the college's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, marketing, digital media, and graphic design ensuring functionality, data integrity, and integration with recruitment and enrollment strategies. This role collaborates with IT, Admissions, and other departments to develop data-driven reports, dashboards, and communication campaigns tailored to prospective and current students. Additionally, the position manages the design and visual impact of digital and print marketing materials, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines, while also providing user training and support for CRM-related communications.
Responsibilities
• Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies
• Maintains the CRM platform, ensuring data quality, and supporting user access
• Develops and oversees the execution of communication strategies aligned with the college's goals. Responsible for overseeing the design layout and visual impact of creative marketing materials, products, and/or publications for the assigned department, college and/or unit in collaboration with Marketing, Communication, and Engagement ensuring alignment with established branding guidelines, policies and procedures
• Oversees website, design, and updates for the institution in conjunction with departmental end-users
• Serves as main point of contact for the institution with all third-party marketing firms and advertising agencies
• Provides leadership and oversight of projects, priorities, design layout and branding of marketing materials and publications
• Leads a team of creative professionals, guiding all projects from conception to completion observing the university, department and/or college branding standards and industry best practices
• Develops reports and dashboards for insights and strategic planning with Executive Director of Strategic Communications
• Motivates and coaches team members to ensure all communication and content are executed with creativity, excellence, and consistency
• Coordinates with the IT department to manage data feeds and integrations
• Creates communication campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
• Tracks and reports on department and team effectiveness with meeting goals, deadlines, and overall alignment with organization strategy
• Provides training for users on the CRM system and continually advancing CRM knowledge through professional development
• Plans and manages expenses of area(s) of responsibility to operate within budget
• Performs other assigned duties
Required Qualifications
• Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
• Experience usually interpreted to require three (3) of experience in Journalism, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Communication, or related field
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
• Required to hold a GHC purchasing card which requires a credit check to receive and continue holding a purchasing card
Preferred Qualifications
• Masters in higher education - Design, Marketing, Public Relations
• Previous experience in higher education
• Previous experience in student recruitment and marketing
• Previous experience serving as a public information officer or similar role

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Knowledge and experience in marketing tools, processes and methodologies, and skills in the application of graphic design principles and processes
• Knowledge of social media marketing and communication processes
• Knowledge of CRM platform, Banner Student Information System, and other CRM-related software
• Ability to manage and maintain CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and user accessibility
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of vendors, professionals, administrators, faculty, staff, and students
• Ability to leverage connections to provide communication, context, oversight, and direction in consultation with department leadership
• Ability to successfully collaborate with campus partners to enhance internal relationships
• Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects at one-time meeting assigned deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required to collaborate with various departments and to develop communication campaigns alongside the marketing team
• Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills
• Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Adobe Creative suite, Microsoft Office suite)
• Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
• Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
